Running Through A Field of Wheat (Paul of Sound remix) by LegPuppy displays a skilful use of electronic instruments and contrast of layers, making it a captivating track.
Intense, flickering strobes, collide head-on with the shadow, cutting through the air, as it circles its prey, fiercely illuminating its surroundings, dripping from the ceiling, like melting daggers. A pristine presence, piercing eyes, dressed in black, immaculate figure, waiting for its moment to tear you apart, to steal your soul, unfold its wings and disappear into the night.

The repetition of a Peter Hook bass line. The elegant phrasing of a Leonard Cohen verse. The naturally beautiful intonations of Chrissie Hynde’s voice over Martin Chambers’ perfect meter. All great music is born from a hypnotic nature.
Red lights illuminate the high street, shadows of sleaze and temptation teasing, flashing neon, naked flesh, a dance with the devil as unknown pleasures await.
“Rocks N Mud” is one of a plethora of tracks from 19 year old Swedish producer Leonell Cassio’s latest album, “Vulnerable”. This offering sees him team up with Stateside vocalist Krista Marina, the two combining emotional electronic soundscapes with haunting, ethereal vocals. The title is deceptive, as one would expect something a little harsher from the imagery it suggests.
